Please note that U.S. Customs will begin enforcement of the ISF filing rule for all ocean arrivals on January 25, 2010. The new law requires the information on the attached form to be filed a minimum of 48 hours prior to the cargo being loaded on the vessel. Failure to provide complete and timely ISF information will result in an automatic penalty of $5,000. Multiple violations can increase the penalty to as much as $10,000 per shipment.
As your dedicated U.S. Customs broker, we will file the ISF on your behalf. Please e-mail or fax the required information as described in the ISF Filing presentation (see below) to us so that we may provide you with excellent service for all your needs.
